The air filter is the breathing system of the motorcycle. If the air filter is blocked by dust, the air intake resistance will increase, which will reduce the output power of the engine, increase the fuel consumption, and make the engine difficult to start and easy to stall. Seriously, the dust enters the inside of the cylinder block, which will aggravate the wear of engine components. . To clean the air filter, follow these steps:

Remove the air filter element from the vehicle;

If the filter element is a sponge foam, it can be cleaned carefully with neutral detergent, do not twist too hard, dry the water after cleaning, drop 2-3 drops of oil (in order to absorb the very fine dust in the air), hold it evenly by hand, and install it as it is. Reply; if it is a paper filter element, it must not be cleaned with liquid, but the internal dust can be beaten vigorously. If possible, use compressed gas to blow in the opposite direction of the air intake (do not do it the other way around, otherwise blowing the dust into the pores of the paper core will block it. more serious); example: QS150T paper core blows from the inside to the outside, and the storm prince blows from the outer ring to the middle hole.

When replacing the filter element, pay attention to the installation direction and air intake direction;

When driving in a dusty and dirty environment, the cleaning frequency should be increased. If the sponge is broken or the paper filter element is soaked, it should be replaced with a new one immediately, otherwise the engine will be damaged or black smoke will be emitted.
